We had so much fun at the island. It was fun swimming in the warm water. The water was almost 40 degrees and the other tempurature was usually from 38-45 degrees. I love to snorkle. It is so fun to swim with the clown fish and see all the cool coral.

 I also had fun with Salome. I met her on  the beach and then we went on a boat to go snorkalling to a different island.

I am glad we don't have to go on another train. It was so cold because they had the a/c on so cold. We were on the train for 11 hours overnight. I did sleep a bit but I was very cold and we only wore shorts beacuse it was so hot outside.

Malaysia travel

Yesterday we went on a over night train from Singapore to Malaysia It was the kind of train that has has bunk beds so we could sleep. But it was the coldest train I have ever bin in.

Sooo I could not sleep because I only had 1 very thin blanket. We also had to take a boat ride to get to an island where we are staying.

Once we got to the Perhentian islands we found

a hotel. Then we went on the beach. The ocean water is like a hot tub.

The air if not hotter. So we spent the whole rest of the day sitting in the water in the South China Sea. That’s what this ocean is called here.



Today we walked over to the other side of the island to a different beach. We only had to walk 10 minutes across the jungle. We met some friends from Calcutta, India. We rented a boat with them to go snorkelling at 2 private beaches. I saw lots of different kinds of fish and one eel. The sand here is white. The coral is a little bleached out by the hot sun and water. We all got lots of sun today. My back is a little pink. I had so much fun with my new friend Salome.

this  is  the  biggest  hotel  you  have  ever  seen.  the  boat  on  top  of   the  3  columns  is  going  2  have  the  worlds  largest  swiming  pool.   and   a  beach  on  top  of  the  three   columns. It is  going  to  have  60  floors.

The didgeridoo

A  didgeridoo  is   a  hollowed  out  log.  How  a  didgeridoos  is made- didgeridoos  are   made  by  termites. The termites  hollow  out  the  log by eating the inside  and  it kills the  tree.  Then  people  harvest  them  and  make   didgeridoos.  A didgeridoo  is  not  a  wind instrument it is a  percussion  instrument  because you   vibrate   your  lips while you blow air in the  inside and  by  the  time  it  comes  out  it  is  a   sound.   The  length   of  it  is  how   hard  it  is.  for  instance    if   the  digredo  is  short  it  is  harder.  If  it  is  longer it is easier to play. They can tune a didgeridoo by cutting it to different lengths. The didgeridoo comes in different tones like D,F# and C.

Great Barrier Reef

I finally made it to the Great Barrier Reef!!! I was very very good coral and fish. We went on a very big boat with a net we could sit in on the front of the boat and a sail. My favorite 2 fish were the turtle and the white tipped reef shark. The turtle was very big. I almost touched it. I was an inch away. The sharks were 6 feet long. As long as my dad.

Dunk island

Yesterday we went to Dunk island. Dunk island is a island East of where we are in Mission bay. We spent the whole day there on the beach. We went for a hike to coconut beach. While we were there Colton made a hut out of coconut leaves and I did my mom’s feet with sea coral and sponges. We also went to a different beach and went to a resort on the island and I got to swim in their pool. It was so nice and hot I got a good tan.



Today my brother and my dad went fishing and brought home 2 fish for supper. Me and my mom went for a 2 hour hike along the beach and the rain forest. We saw lots of wallabees along the way to the beach. When we walked along the beach we found a little hut that someone made with a chair beside it. So we played there for a while.

Today I got to ride a thoroughbred horse for the first time. His name is snow. He is a professional horse racer that just stopped racing one month ago. He is very tall and very strong. It was very cool.



We also got to see a cassowary . It was just walking along next to our car. A cassowary is a big black bird is about as big as an emu. They live all over where we are at Mission beach. They are very rare to see. We also saw white lipped green tree frogs. I even got to hold 2 of them. We were buying bananas from a stand on the side of the road and the banana farmer brought it to us to play with. They are not poisonous like everything else. They have very sticky feet and can stick to my shirt and my skin. They are really cool.

Today we went to the beach. It was very fun. We even got to go kneeboarding. Then we went for lunch. We went to the car and we got a parking ticket. Then we went back to the beach. Then we went back to the house. Then Riley came back with a headache. Riley is training to be a circus performer . He is really fun.

Yesterday I met a new friend and her name is Emma. We also went swimming to. My brother caught 4 fish. We climbed on the rocks to fish and that’s how he caught his 4 fish.

Emma is 11 years old. She is really fun. She thought it was so funny the way we play grounders and other things that we do
The rocks by the ocean were very sharp with very sharp seashells on the rocks.We played for a long time on the rocks and the sand on the beach.

 One of Colton’s fish was a puffer fish to. Colton also caught 2 mullets and 1 bream.

I have pet lots of diffent animals so far. I would just like to pet a red kangaroo.

Koalas!!!!!!!

We went to a golf course to find Koalas. It took forever to find one. But then Daddy found it high up in a tree. It was very exciting to see a koala in the wild.

Then we went to a little game farm that let us pet their koalas.Some people say that koalas are not fuzzy. But they acually are. They felt very soft and fuzzy like a big ball of cotton. I liked it a lot because it is a koala and people don't usually get to pet them. We also saw wallabees and walleroos. Also grey kangaroos and red kangaroos. I had a lot of fun at that farm.

Today we are going to find opal. Opal is a vary precious stone. Its colourful too. The most often colors are green, red, yellow and sometimes blue. Yesterday we saw Kangaroos, Emu and lots of wild parrots and Cockatoos. Emus are a type of bird. I have seen lots of sheep and cows. I have made lots of friends and don't worry
Brittany you are still my best friend and jo jo and Britt I have seen 262 horses and multiplying every day. jojo you are still my sis. I miss you all very much. Michelle, I can't wait to get home to play mushroom people with you.

Yesterday we drove a long way to get here. We are staying in a camper van which isn’t very big. We are staying in a town called Gunnedah. This morning we walked around a golf coarse to try to find a Koala. We found one high up in a tree. My dad climbed the tree to get closer to the Koala. But he couldn’t get close enough.
