tea farming

We went to visit a tea plantaion. This machine crushes the tea leaves after they have been picked.

Then they fornent the leaves for a day and dry them in a big dryer.

I loved the smell of the tea in the fields.

This is a tea plant. They can grow 14 feet high like a regular tree. But the keep them pruned short like this so they can pick the leaves easier. It is like a bonzi tree. These tea trees are 80 years old. They have lots of wrokers who cut the leaves off the bushes with a hand mower machine.

As far as I could see there were tea trees.
