we are in Bali now and it is very different from NZ because there is a language barrier and the culcher is very different from ours unlike NZ there culcher is very much
the same. for instance you use your right hand for everything. if you use your left it is ofensive because it is your dirty hand. Also it never snows hereat all. its also really hot all
year round. Instead of planting corn or grain they plant rice. instead of seeing fields you see rice patties. layers and layers of rice patties when I say layeres I mean
terraces or steps up and down the hills and when the rice is ready to be harvested it looks like wheat. When they grow it they have to go threw stages of flooding and blocking
of the irrigation ditches so it will grow. there clothing is different to compared to our. they where modest clothing and they wear sarongs. A sarong it a peice of materiel and
you put it on so it looks like a skirt.

i just learnt to fold fish in a banana leaf to be steamed at our cooking class

I'm roasting coffee beans over a fire.

This is a picture from our balcony. this is what the rice tarraces look like.

we have been very busy. a few days ago we went on a tour of ubud.Ubud is the town near where we are staying. we looked at temples and went to a coffee plantation
and the most expensive type of coffee was made from lewak dropping's. we didn't try any of that kind of coffee.

we also had a cooking class. well we more like helped cook.

Here is me walking toward the place we are staying at in the country.

yesterday we went to monkey forest. one of them started hissing and running at me. it was scary. I think that it did that a lot because its front
teeth were taken out. the same thing happened to my mom. But the monkey was on a ledge and colton said just push it off and it will learn its lesson. he he. He was just kidding.

.

All in all i still think are mean because when i was 6 a monkey bit me.

also yesterday mom and dad had a 4 hour massage and me and colton had to stay at our house.
We watched a move oh i mean do homework hee hee. We also had to make our own lunch. Today we just going to relax and do laundry go to the pool. bye

and write in my blog and maybe do math

Why do they believe that your left hand is dirty?

Does the banana leaf keep the fish fresh?

What's a lewak? Do we drink that in Canada?
